In a sick act that shocked the whole of Britain, John Maden, a thirty-eight year old jobless man living in Manchester, England, raped and murdered his twelve-year-old niece Tia Rigg in his own home. His niece never suspected a thing because she had baby sit for his uncle on many occasions. This time, however, she met her end at the hands of her sick uncle. She was first drugged with medication that Maden usually took to treat his mental problems, and the tortured, raped, and finally killed through stabbing and strangling with a guitar string. After the deed, he called 999 and calmly told the operator that he raped and killed his niece because "he felt like it".
Maden didn't regret the act nor did he take personal responsibility for what he did. Instead he blamed it on the voices in his head that he claimed told him what to do and how to do it. Not buying his bullshit, the judge violently condemned the act, using the worst epithets to describe him and his crime. Handing out the worst punishment possible in the UK, the judge gave him life sentence in jail without the possibility of parole. He will go to jailed and be tortured and raped by other inmates for the rest of his life.
Maden's horrendous act was an execution in reality of his long-time fantasy involving snuff sex. Investigators have found a huge amount of snuff movies on his computer that he downloaded from the internet. In addition, Maden also had a huge collection of child pornography and manuals on killing people. The horrible crime brought into question on whether or not further regulation should be applied to extreme content such as snuff porn.
